In addition to a runner-up finish in the heptathlon, she won the 100-meter hurdles and 400-meter hurdles and finished third in the javelin, individually contributing 34 points to Whitworth's team score.
Mount (Sr., San Jose, Calif.) graduated as a two-sport All-American with a 4.0 GPA in accounting.
Mount was the NWC women's cross country champion last fall and went on to earn All-America honors at the 2018 NCAA Division III Championships in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. After undergoing surgery in December, Mount returned to competition in time to compete in four events at the 2019 NWC Track & Field Championships, where she finished first in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, second in the 10,000-meter run, third in the 5,000 and fourth in the 1,500, covering 19.5 kilometers of races in just 24 hours. Mount went on to finish third in the steeplechase at the NCAA Division III Championships last week in Ohio, following a fourth place finish in that event in 2018.
