SPOKANE, Wash. – Whitworth seniors Drew Brigham and Blake Miller have been named to the 2016 All-Northwest Conference men's tennis team, which was released today by the conference office. Brigham was picked as a First Team honoree while Miller was voted to the Second Team by the NWC coaches.

Brigham, from Eagle, Idaho, is now a three-time All-NWC selection, including two consecutive years on the First Team. Miller (Missoula, Mont.) is making his Pirate debut on the All-NWC list.
Brigham has posted an 11-7 overall record and an 8-4 mark against NWC opponents as the number one player on the Pirates' singles ladder this season. He and Drew Adams also have a 9-9 record as the top doubles team. He has singles victories over a pair of All-NWC players this season. Brigham defeated L&C's Raed Attia 6-4, 6-3 on February 20th and he knocked off Pacific's Brennan Faith in three close sets on February 26th.
Miller is 8-10 in singles as the #2 player on the Pirates' ladder this season, 6-6 against NWC opponents. He is also 11-5 in doubles, including a 9-1 mark when paired with Layne Ryerson at #3 on the doubles ladder.
Brigham and Miller have guided the Pirates to a 12-7 record this season, 8-4 in the NWC. Whitworth heads into the 2016 Northwest Conference tournament as the 4th seed and will take on top-seeded Whitman in a conference semifinal on Saturday at 10:00 am.
