The men worked their way to an impressive 3.50 team GPA to be the 29th of 173 teams to earn All-Academic honors.
The women, with a 3.62 team GPA, finished 20th out of 216 teams to be recognized. The women finished first at the West Regional with 81 points, six points ahead of Claremont Mudd-Scripps.
To be recognized as an All-Academic team, the team must compete in the regional championships for Division III and achieve over a 3.30 GPA.
Kayla Leland, in addition to All-American recognition for her 12th place finish at the NCAA Div. III National Championships, was recognized as All-Academic. She finished third at the West Regional championships. Bailey Scott and Thais Pedro Trujillo finished 10th and 16th en route to a first place team finish. There were 374 women recognized as All-Academic by the USTFCCCA.
The honor is given to individuals who finish in the top 25% at the NCAA Regional Championship in addition to achieving above a 3.3 GPA.
