Mooney, a junior from Centennial, Colorado, is a first team honoree for the second straight season.  Peña, a sophomore from Medford, Oregon, is on the All-NWC team for the first time.  The pair split time at #1 and #2 on the singles ladder this season.  Mooney has an 8-9 singles record so far, 7-5 against NWC opponents.  Peña is currently 9-8 in singles, 9-3 against the NWC.

As a doubles team Mooney and Peña are 11-6 overall as the Pirates #1 pairing, 8-4 against the NWC.

Hoyos, a freshman from Bellingham, has gone 11-4 overall as the #3 singles player for the Bucs, 9-1 against conference opponents.  She is 9-7 in doubles.  Twelve of those were pairings with Morgan McDivitt at #2 where they went 7-5.

The trio of Pirates has led Whitworth to a 12-5 record, 10-2 in the NWC.  The Bucs are the #2 seeds at this weekend's NWC tournament at Whitman, where they will take on third-seeded Linfield on Saturday in a conference semifinal.
