The Whitworth University women's golf team returns to action this weekend at the Pacific Lutheran Invitational, hosted by Pacific Lutheran University, at the Lake Spanaway Golf Course on September 28th and 29th.

Six Northwest Conference schools will be among those competing at the Pacific Lutheran Invitational this weekend. Puget Sound, Lewis & Clark, Willamette and Pacific (Ore.) will join Whitworth and host school Pacific Lutheran at Lake Spanaway.

Saturday's round will tee off at 11 a.m. while Sunday's round will have a 10 a.m. tee time.

Last Time Out: Whitworth competed at the Pacific Invitational in a field that featured all nine Northwest Conference schools. After ending the first round sixth in the team standings, the Pirate women slipped a spot to seventh after the final round after battling rainy and windy weather in both rounds. Chelsea Bayley tied for 21st in the player standings with an 84-85—169 total score, while Nicole Lomax tied for 23rd with a score of 80-90—170.
