The Whitworth track & field teams will compete in the Sasquatch Meet hosted by Spokane Falls on May 10 and the Portland Twilight Meet on May 12-13 to try and improve their marks one last time before the NCAA Division III National Championships on May 17,
The Whitworth track & field teams will travel across Oregon and Washington, participating in four different meets over two days, looking to improve their marks and earn a trip to the 2017 NCAA Div. III National Championships.
Tyler Bailey of baseball, John-Robert Woolley of men's track, and Kayla Brase and Kayla Leland of women's track & field were all honored as Northwest Conference Student-Athletes of the Week for their performances during the week of April 10-16.
Kayla Leland and Kayla Brase posted top-five national marks at the Whitworth track & field Twilight Meet on April 13 to lead a Whitworth team that posted a number of personal-best and conference qualifying marks just one week before the NWC Conference Championships.
Madi Perez and Tessa Matthews of softball and Sarah Martinez of women's track have each been named a Northwest Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for their efforts during the week of March 27 - April 3.
