Favorite part of campus and why: My favorite part of campus is the back 40 and the soccer game field. I trained all summer on the back 40 so it was the first part of Whitworth that I spent a lot of time with. The game field is just a luxury to me. It is the nicest field I have ever played on and it’s an honor to play on it representing the Pirates.

Why you chose Whitworth: I chose Whitworth because I wanted to stay in Spokane and I heard great things about the community and the quality of education here. Everyone that I have gotten the privilege to meet have all been genuinely kind and it’s a pleasure to be a part of this institution.

Pre-game ritual/superstitions: I put on all of my left gear first. Left shin sleeve, then right. Left sock, then right. Left boot, then right.

Something people would be surprised to find out about you: I hate running.

Chore do you absolutely hate doing: I’m not a big fan of cleaning out the litter box.

Favorite TV show/movie and why: Remember the Titans and Miracle are my all-time favorites. I find them both very inspirational, plus Denzel Washington is the man.

What word do you have trouble saying? Develop. Not that I can’t say it, I just hate the way it sounds.

What is one thing that you want to do before you die? Do something for somebody who could never repay me.

What’s your favorite holiday and why? My favorite holiday is Christmas. I love having all of my family and friends in town and spending time with all of them. My family is known for our inability to play games together but we always have a good time and share many laughs. Family is the most important thing in life to me.
