Jordan Jennings joins the coaching staff for his third year as a graduate assistant in 2013-14. In his first two years with the program Jordan’s impact on the Pirate cross country and track teams has been invaluable. He has helped bring in one of the best recruiting classes in program history along with helping to guide the men’s cross country team to its third NWC championship in four years and men’s track and field team to its fifth NWC title in six years.
He brought with him a wealth of experience and talent as a member of NCAA DI Saint Louis University where he holds six school records in the 600m, 800m (indoor and outdoor), 1000m, 4x800m relay, and the Distance Medley Relay. Jordan, who has a degree in psychology and will be working on his Master’s degree in Counseling, will work closely with Coach Schwarz and Coach Howell on program development through recruiting, fundraising, administration, meet management and helping with coaching athletes in multiple event areas in both cross country and track.
